Tim Merlier (1992, Alpecin-Fenix) ha ganado la clásica Grote prijs Jean – Pierre Monseré (1.1, Bélgica), de 202,1 kilómetros entre Hooglede y Roeselare, y ha repetido su victoria de esta semana en Le Samyn.
Merlier se ha mostrado superior y ha sido más rápido que Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck-QuickStep) y Timothy Dupont (Bingoal-Wallonie Bruxelles).
Merlier sucede en el palmarés a Fabio Jakobsen (2020). La participación ha sido de 25 escuadras, cinco del WorldTour y nueve ProTeams.
