Vuelta a Andalucía: De la Cruz gana la última; Wellens la vuelta (Vídeo)

No estaba entre los principales favoritos a la victoria de etapa, pero David De la Cruz ha sido el más rápido en la última jornada de la Vuelta a Andalucía, la contrarreloj individual con principio y final en Barbate y 14,2 kilómetros de recorrido.

De la Cruz ha dejado el crono en 17’11», bajando así el tiempo de Dylan Van Baarle. El neerlandés se ha quedado durante un buen tiempo como el mejor tiempo hasta que el catalán ha llegado anunciando que el Team Sky venía con todo a esta crono individual.

Pero Chris Froome, que daba el pistoletazo de salida a los grandes favoritos de la carrera, ha entrado con 27 segundos más que De la Cruz, lo que de verdad empezaba a hacer pensar que sería difícil batir al de Sabadell.

Sorprendente, por otra parte, la contrarreloj de un Marc Soler que ha sido capaz de sacar 15 segundos a un hombre en teoría mucho más rodador como Luis León Sánchez y 21 a Fuglsang, adelantándolos en la clasificación general y metiéndose en el podio también en detrimento de su compañero Mikel Landa.

La carrera queda pues con Wellens como ganador de la general, Wout Poels en segundo lugar a seis segundos y Marc Soler tercero a 27.
