Trofeo Matteotti: Trentin vence; Amador, segundo (Vídeo)

Matteo Trentin (1989, Mitchelton-Scott) ha ganado el Trofeo Matteotti (1.1), de 195 kilómetros con salida y meta en Pescara. Andrey Amador (1986, Movistar Team) ha finalizado segundo, demostrando ambos un buen estado de forma de cara a Yorkshire.

Una escapada iniciada en el km 38 llevó a Andrey, junto a Matteo Trentin, Matteo Fabbro (ITA), Fabien Doubey (WGG) y Daniele Savini (BRD), a los cinco minutos de ventaja sobre un pelotón al que le faltaron anticipación, fuerzas y coordinación para cazar en las tres vueltas finales.

La escapada se mantuvo unida casi hasta el sprint, donde un Trentin más veloz por naturaleza se impuso a Amador, ya 8º hace escasas fechas en la general de la Vuelta a Gran Bretaña.

El tico de Movistar Team viaja así con la mejor moral y forma posibles al Campeonato del Mundo de Yorkshire (GBR), en el que será uno de los once Movistar que disputen la prueba en línea masculina del domingo 29.
