Tour Romandía: Peter Sagan se lleva la primera etapa (Vídeo)

Peter Sagan (1990, Bora-hansgrohe) ha ganado la primera etapa del Tour de Romandie (2.UWT, Suiza), de 168,1 kilómetros desde Aigle hasta Martigny. Rohan Dennis (Ineos Grenadiers) sigue líder.

En una llegada apretada, Sagan ha superado a Colbrelli (Bahrain-Victorious) y Bevin (Israel Start-Up Nation) para sumar su segunda victoria de la temporada tras estrenarse en la Volta a Catalunya. Un triunfo que confirma que aún tiene ciclismo que ofrecer (El futuro de Peter Sagan, en el centro de los rumores).

Los protagonistas de la fuga del día han sido: Gougeard (AG2R), Boaro (Astana), Power (Qhubeka), Conca (Lotto-Soudal), Arensman (DSM) y Suter (Suiza). Neutralizados a falta de 20 kilómetros, Cattaneo y Cavagna (Deceuninck-Quickstep), Howson (BikeExchange) y Reichenbach (Groupama-FDJ) lo intentaban después, en vano.

La segunda etapa, La Neuveville-Saint-Imier, 165,7 kilómetros, presenta cinco puertos de Segunda Categoría más La Vue-des-Alpes (1ª), 7,9 km al 6,7%, a menos de 20 de meta; en total, 3.305 metros de desnivel positivo.
