Tour Noruega: Boasson Hagen se regala la segunda; Aranburu tercero

Edvald Boasson Hagen no ha podido tener mejor forma de celebrar su cumpleaños que ganando la segunda etapa del Tour de Noruega. Un buen ‘regalo’ para sí mismo y su equipo en la subida final a Asker, donde el noruego ha sido capaz de imponer su poderío.

Un final con mucho protagonismo de Euskadi-Murias por medio de Sergio Samitier. El aragonés ha probado con un ataque a 13 de meta y se ha podido mantener delante durante varios minutos, pero el empuje de Lotto NL-Jumbo y Aqua Blue ha terminado por echar por tierra su tentativa.

Antes de eso, Smukulis (Delko), Lukkedal (Team Coop) y Hoem (Joker) han protagonizado la escapada del día, pero sin visos reales de poder llegar a meta. La subida final a Asker podía picar algunos segundos entre quienes quieren jugarse la carrera, así que los equipos más potentes se han mantenido atentos y no han querido dejar demasiada manga ancha.

Por tanto, un triunfo importante para el Dimension Data que andaba necesitado de victorias en esta temporada. Boasson Hagen busca su cuarta general en la ronda nórdica, en la que defiende el título de 2017. Por su parte, Alex Aranburu (Caja Rural-RGA) ha sido tercero en meta y se coloca cuarto en una general que lidera Sondré Holst Enger (Israel CA), que ha vuelto a ser segundo igual que ayer.
