Tour Limousin: Calmejane gana; Aristi 2°

Lilian Calmejane (1992, Team Total Direct Energie) ha ganado la etapa inaugural del Tour de Limousin (2.1), de 172 kilómetros entre Condat-sur-Vienne y Guéret. Mikel Aristi (1993, Euskadi Basque Country – Murias) ha sido segundo.

La etapa presentaba un perfil de media montaña, con numerosas cotas en el recorrido. El pelotón se fue seleccionando, hasta que en los últimos kilómetros solo quedaba un grupo de 13 en cabeza, con Aristi como favorito en caso de llegada conjunta. Sin embargo, el siempre combativo Calmejane lanzó el ataque decisivo a kilómetro y medio de meta, que no pudo ser neutralizado por la falta de acuerdo entre los perseguidores.

Aristi completaba una sensacional etapa, al imponerse con poderío en la rampa final de 500 metros y ser segundo por delante de corredores como Cosnefroy, Sbaragli, Reichenbach, Terpstra, Guillaume Martin o Pierre Rolland.

Mañana, habrá una llegada más favorable para los sprinters, con 182 kilómetros entre la Base départementale de Rouffiac y Trélissac.
