París-Chauny: Sinkeldam, el más rápido

Precisamente en una semana repleta de campeonatos nacionales, el campeón de los Países Bajos, Ramon Sinkeldam, ha conseguido la victoria en la París-Chauny (1.1) tras ser el más rápido en un grupo de unos 15 corredores que ha superado la selección natural de la carrera.

Sin grandes sprinters en liza, el neerlandés ha ganado al australiano Dion Smith (Wanty-Groupe Gobert), mientras que Quentin Jauregui ha cerrado el podio. El grupo que se ha jugado la carrera ha acabado sacando algo más de dos minutos al pelotón principal.

Sinkeldam sucede con esta victoria a Thomas Boudat en la primera edición de esta carrera como clásica .1, ya que anteriormente pertenecía al circuito continental. Es la primera victoria de Sinkeldam este año y decimosexta del equipo francés en este 2018.
