GP Industria: Mohoric derrota a Canola

El que fuera campeón del Mundo sub23, Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Merida) ha logrado la victoria en el G.P. Industria&Artiginato, por delante y ligeramente destacado de Marco Canola (Nippo-Vini Fantini).

Ha sido una prueba sin respiros en la que todo el mundo ha dado el máximo. Tras formarse una fuga de tres ciclistas, primero Mitchelton-Scott y luego Katusha-Alpecin controlaron bien para llegar a la última vuelta con la carrera completamente abierta y todos los favoritos en la pelea.

La última subida ha sido un toma y daca de ataques entre los principales nombres, empezando por Adam Yates, vencedor el año pasado, y con Rafal Majka respondiendo a cada movimiento. Finalmente, tras la última subida Mohoric ha hecho algo en lo que es uno de los mejores del mundo: lanzarse cuesta abajo.

Con el grupo totalmente fragmentado, Mohoric ha realizado una bajada a tumba abierta que le ha valido para llegar un par de segundos por delante de Marco Canola, con Ballerini dando entrada al pelotón de los favoritos y cerrando el podio.
