Coppi e Bartali: Andrea Bagioli (Deceuninck) vence en Rubicone

Andrea Bagioli (Deceuninck-QuickStep) ha ganado la segunda etapa de la Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali (2.1, Italia), de 166,5 kilómetros entre Riccione y Rubicone. El italiano es el nuevo líder.

Mosca (Trek-Segafredo) ha intentado sorprender a 20 de meta, pero el líder Honoré (Deceuninck-QuickStep) ha respondido en persona. Y a dos kilómetros el intento ha sido de Cepeda (Caja Rural-RGA), cazado a 900 metros el ecuatoriano.

En meta, Bagioli era más rápido que Narváez y certificaba su calidad, después de ganar una etapa en el Tour de l’Ain  por delante de Roglic y ser uno de los mejores sub23 en 2019.

El circuito final con la cota de Rubicone ha seleccionado la carrera en sus cinco pasos, el último en meta. Ballerstedt (Jumbo Visma), Marengo (Vini Zabù KTM), Irisarri (Caja Rural-RGA), Ezquerra (Burgos – BH) y Di Sante (Sangemini Trevigiani Mg.K. Vis) ha sido los cinco escapados del día, neutralizados a 30 de meta.

La tercera etapa, 168,9 kilómetros con salida y llegada a Riccione, presenta el Monte Carpegna (HC, 17 km al 5,9%) y Madonna di Pugliano (1ª, 9 km al 5,5%) en la parte central del recorrido.
