Era sólo un mero trámite porque la etapa terminaba al sprint, pero Julian Alaphilippe ha conseguido la victoria en el Tour de Eslovaquia. Cimentada en el prólogo donde terminó segundo detrás de Jungels y apuntalada del todo en la segunda etapa que también ganó, el francés se ha ‘paseado’ literalmente en la ronda eslovaca.
Una carrera que llega, además, apenas dos semanas antes del Mundial de Innsbruck donde es uno de los máximos favoritos a colgarse el oro. Ahora no sólo es favorito por el nombre, sino también porque ha demostrado un enorme estado de forma.
La última etapa también ha ido para el caladero del Quick Step. Esta vez en la figura de Fabio Jakobsen, que ha ganado al sprint por delante de Matteo Pelucchi, vencedor ayer, y Christophe Laporte.
