La campeona del mundo Anna van der Breggen (SD Worx) ha ganado el Gran Premio Ciudad de Eibar (1.1), de 117,2 kilómetros desde Eibar hasta el Santuario de Arrate.
Tras varias alternativas en cabeza de carrera, un selecto pelotón se reagrupaba antes de la subida final a Arrate. Enseguida, Van Vleuten, Van der Breggen y Longo Borghini marcaban la diferencia. Van Vleuten se mostraba como la más ofensiva, pero la campeona del mundo remataba a la neerlandesa del Movistar Team a falta de tres kilómetros.
Entre las ciclistas españolas, Ane Santesteban y Eider Merino llegaban en el primer grupo perseguidor, sexta y octava, respectivamente.
